Influence of Silicon Forms on Nutrients Accumulation and Grain Yield of Wheat Under Water Deficit Conditions

Abstract Wheat productivity is severely hampered by drought, owing to its negative impacts on crop growth and development. For obtaining better yield, the of drought should be ameliorated. Therefore, current study scrutinizes potential different silicon (Si) forms minify drought-associated reduction in yield changes nutrients accumulation. In a strip plots design based randomized complete block arrangement using 3 replicates, two field experiments were carried out 2019/20 2020/21 seasons. Three (potassium silicate, calcium aluminum silicate), addition control (tap water) sprayed. Also, three irrigation regimes applied as ratio evapotranspiration (60, 80 100%, denoted Irr60, Irr80 Irr100, respectively). Findings clarified that application silicate both seasons, second season recorded maximum accumulation Si wheat plants. Supplying plants with reduced zinc (Zn) manganese (Mn) increased compared (no application). Irr100 possessed increase plant tissues greater than or Irr60.
